FLINT A Consumers Energy spokesman says 1,400 customers lost power in Flint and Flint
Township, causing a power outage along Miller Road.
The outage, which was caused by a blown transformer, caused traffic signals to
stop working and restaurants to suddenly go dark.
The outage was caused by what's called a blown "cut out."
The power has been restored.
