1920s home burns in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE

An ABC11 viewer sent in a uReport photo of the blaze taken from Martin Luther King Junior Freeway just before 7 p.m.

One whole side of the 3,100 square foot wood frame home at 209 Woodside Ave, near Rowan Park was fully engulfed in flames.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.

While nobody was inside the home at the time, the Fayetteville Observer reports one firefighter was treated for heat related injury.
