However, the Cary-based company is no longer number one. That's, at least, not in the eyes of Fortune magazine.
The magazine just released its list of the 100 best companies to work for. SAS, which topped the list the past two years, placed third in this year's survey.
Google supplanted SAS as number one this year followed by Boston consulting group.
No other North Carolina- based companies made the top 100.
