Employee run over, killed at Raleigh gas station

RALEIGH

Police said 50-year-old Randy Wilson was working in an underground well at the station, located in the 4000 block of New Bern Avenue, when a person driving away from the gas pump hit him with a car and killed him.

The driver, 52-year-old Deborah Dunkley, then left the scene but was stopped a short time later.

Dunkley has been charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle and with unsafe movement and was taken to the Wake County Jail.
