Woman charged with running over Fayetteville man

Fayetteville police say a man hit by an SUV Wednesday has died.

Authorities say 57-year-old Chang Zheng was struck on Patton Street during an argument with a woman.

According to police, Zheng tried to pull 44-year-old Marilyn Marie Wolfe out of a car but she sped off.

Wolfe is now facing voluntary manslaughter charges.

She is currently being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $150,000 secured bond.
