Xavia Barnes, Eugene Dumas, Alexander Gonzalez and Jayshon Norment are charged with the attempted robbery and murder of 59-year-old Michael Palmer.
Barners and Gonzalez were arrested on unrelated charges this week when police determined they were suspects in the murder.
Police say recent media coverage, including a police checkpoint conducted on Quail Ridge Road Thursday night helped apprehend the suspects.
The suspects with make their first court appearance Monday.
Meanwhile, a memorial service for Palmer will also be Monday. The service will be at 11 a.m. at Haywood Funeral Home on S.Wilmington Street in Raleigh.
