Teen charged with school break-in

Officers say they responded to an alarm call at the school on North Mial Street at 9:40 p.m. Sunday evening.

They say they spotted Cedrick Jermaine Williams, of Randolph Drive, Clayton, running from a mobile classroom and captured him after a brief foot chase.

Police say he was carrying burglary tools. They also recovered a bag containing four Leapfrog Quantum reading pads, several Leapfrog games, four Texas Instrument calculators, and two sets of headphones.

Williams is charged with felony breaking and entering and felony possession of burglary tools.
