Sheriff Lane Carter says his office got a report of the theft from Mercy Grocery at 1487 Highway 15-501 Monday.
Deputies said they found a dark green truck on the highway north of Carthage with three 55-gallon tanks in the back. One tank was full. There was also hose and an electric pump.
Timmy Lee Barnes, 52, of 107 Hall Lane in Bennett, and Brian Darrell McNeil, 37, of 243 North Moore Road in Robbins are charged with misdemeanor larceny and possession of stolen goods.
