Investigators said Dwayne Larry Sawyer, 27, of Colliers Chapel Church Road, Linden, died when someone shot him through the front door at a home in the 89 hundred block of Durant Nixon Road.

Also hurt were 22-year-old Dominique Wiley - a resident of the home - and her friend 33-year-old Darius Elliot. Both have non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives said they are searching for 32-year-old Roderick Nathaniel Davis of 230 Prospect Church Road, Erwin. Davis is wanted for questioning only. He was last seen driving a grey-colored Chrysler PT Cruiser or a Chevrolet HHR.
