GOTW: Garner Trojans brave the cold to defeat Wakefield Wolverines 20-12

GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- Friday night was a serious one as the first round of playoffs kicked off across the state: Wakefield High School on the Garner Trojans' turf.

With under a minute to play, Wakefield's pass was intercepted by Jayion McMillan

Garner Trojans won 20-12.

"It's amazing because we came from 1-5 and we just kept practicing hard and hard," said Derrick Alston.
