High school student charged in nightclub shooting

A Clayton High School student was arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting at a nightclub.

Eighteen-year-old Daniel Laboy Jr. turned himself into authorities.

Officials said Laboy shot 17-year-old Raheem Foye in the face at the Blazing Saddle club on Aug. 25.

Laboy is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He is being held on $40,000 bond.

Authorities have not released a motive for the shooting.
