Three sought in armed robbery

BURLINGTON

It happened Thursday just after 6 a.m. at the Fairway One Stop on Tucker Street in Burlington.

Police said three men -- one armed with a gun -- took items from the store, along with an undisclosed amount of money. All three fled on foot before police arrived.

Authorities along with canines were able to apprehend some of the stolen items, but not the suspects.

The clerk at the store was not injured during the robbery.

Surveillance video from the store showed that the suspects were able to conceal their entire bodies, including their faces with some type of towel or mask.

All three appeared to be African American men with thin builds. The ages of the suspects are unclear.

The first suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and armed was with a handgun.

Another suspect was wearing a long sleeve white t-shirt with a large polo emblem on the front of shirt, blue jeans, and tan boots.

The third suspect was wearing a long sleeve black shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
