Tree collapses on vehicle injuring 1 in Johnston County

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A person was sent to the hospital with injuries after a tree collapsed on their car in Johnston County on Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 12:40 p.m. when officers responded to a tree collapse along NC-96 along Covered Bridge Lane.
A person was transported to WakeMed in Raleigh.
